Baby Growth Tracking Chart - Clothing Digest

Baby Growth Tracking Chart

Log your baby's weight and length over time to see their current size and get a realistic sense of when they might need the next one up.

How it works

  1. Add a measurement whenever you check your baby's weight and length.
  2. Build up a history. Predictions get more reliable the more measurements you add, since they're based on your baby's overall trend, not just the last entry.
  3. Generate predictions once you have at least two measurements, to see upcoming sizes and shopping guidance.

    About this tool

Predictions are based on the overall growth trend between your first and most recent measurement, not just the two latest entries. This makes them more resistant to noise from a single unusually fast or slow week, and they become more reliable the more measurements you add over time.

A size change is predicted once your baby's weight or length is projected to exceed the current size's typical range, whichever comes first, since clothes usually become snug in one dimension before the other. Your data is saved automatically in this browser so it will still be here next time you visit.

    Frequently asked questions

Why do I need at least two measurements?

A single measurement only tells you today's size, not a growth rate. Two or more measurements, taken at different ages, let the tool calculate how quickly your baby is growing and project that forward.

How accurate are the size predictions?

They are estimates based on your baby's own recent trend, not a guarantee. Growth can speed up or slow down, especially around illness or growth spurts, so treat the predicted dates as a planning guide and keep checking fit in person.

    Does my data get saved?

Yes. Your measurements are saved automatically in this browser, so they will still be there next time you open this page on the same device. Use "Clear all data" if you want to start over.
